Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has 33 beds, typical ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, uses Meditech charting, and serves a Level I trauma setting.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Provide nursing care for adult med surg and trauma patients
• Assist with small incision and drainage procedures
• Assist with peritoneal dialysis and thoracentesis care
• Document assessments and coordinate care with the team

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation competency

• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong patient focus
