Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients on a neuro-focused hospital unit in Richmond, Virginia, for a 13-week contract. The unit has 34 beds, uses remote telemetry and Meditech, and serves stroke and neuro patients with a 5:1 ratio.

• Provide bedside care for medical-surgical, telemetry, stroke and neuro patients
• Monitor remote telemetry and report changes in condition
• Assess patients, administer medications and support treatment plans
• Coordinate care with charge nurse, techs and unit secretary
• Document care accurately in Meditech
• Support safe admissions, transfers and discharges

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills

• NIH Stroke certification
• ACLS
