Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a med surg and telemetry unit for a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit uses Meditech, has 5:1 to 6:1 ratios, and serves patients in a Level I trauma hospital.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes
• Administer medications and assess patient response
• Assist with bedside procedures and wound care
• Obtain assessments, vital signs, and ordered labs
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team
• Document care and patient progress in the chart

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Basic Rhythm test completion

• Medical surgical experience
• Strong patient focus
