Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult med surg and telemetry patients in a hospital in Richmond, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit has 33 beds, uses Meditech, and serves a Level I trauma hospital with 5:1 to 6:1 nurse ratios.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and support bedside monitoring during push meds
• Perform focused assessments and document care in Meditech
• Assist with small incision and drainage procedures
• Support peritoneal dialysis and thoracentesis care
• Coordinate with the charge nurse and patient care technicians

• Current Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Basic rhythm test pass

• Medical surgical experience
