Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in New Hampton, IA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in a critical access hospital med-surg telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in New Hampton, Iowa. The unit supports general surgery patients and uses telemetry monitoring.

• Assess and monitor adult med-surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Track cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge needs
• Document care and update the plan of care
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills
