Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct care on an acute care hospital medical-surgical telemetry unit during a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Assess medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Coordinate care with physicians and the nursing team
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge needs
• Document care and patient responses in the chart

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
