Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in an acute care hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on a 13-week contract. The unit combines medical-surgical care with telemetry monitoring and team-based bedside nursing.

• Assess and monitor adult med surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and maintain safe medication practices
• Track cardiac rhythms and report changes in patient status
• Coordinate care with providers and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Med surg and telemetry nursing skills
