Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in a hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports cardiac monitoring, medication management, and coordinated bedside care in an acute care setting.

• Assess adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate care with physicians and nurses
• Document patient status and responses to treatment
• Educate patients and families on recovery and self-care

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation and electronic health record documentation

• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
