Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in a hospital unit on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports adult patients with cardiac monitoring and general medical-surgical needs.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and patient status
• Administer medications and treatments
• Assess changes in condition and response
• Coordinate care with the team
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
