Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The unit serves adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and report changes
• Assess adult medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and support treatments
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Collaborate with providers and the care team
• Reinforce patient education and safety

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification
