Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care for adult med surg and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports a resource pool serving ortho, neurology step down, oncology, and surgical telemetry patients.

• Assess and monitor adult med surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Collaborate with the care team to plan and adjust nursing care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns
• Support discharge teaching and care coordination

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
