A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports adult med surg and telemetry patients in a hospital setting.

• Assess patients and trend changes
• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with nurses and providers
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses
• Educate patients and families on care plans

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and communication skills

• TNCC certification
