Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for neurologic patients in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports a neurology-focused unit with telemetry monitoring and documentation of changing status.

• Assess neurological and telemetry status and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care priorities
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on recovery and ongoing care

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• NIHSS
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
