Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Surgical Cardiac Registered Nurse will support adult cardiac and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role centers on med surg and telemetry care with cardiac monitoring and postoperative support.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and coordinate treatments
• Support postoperative recovery and patient education
• Document care and communicate with the team
• Respond to changes in patient condition

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Cardiac telemetry and med surg skills

• ACLS certification
• TNCC certification
