Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in New Hampton, IA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient neuro nursing care in a critical access hospital on a 26-week contract in New Hampton, Iowa. The unit serves neurology patients and blends med surg and telemetry care. It is a smaller setting that supports broad bedside skills.

• Monitor neurological and telemetry status throughout care
• Assess patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and ordered treatments safely
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes clearly

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Med surg, telemetry and neuro assessment skills

• TNCC certification
