Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Waterloo, IA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital in Waterloo, Iowa on a 13-week contract. The unit serves general adult patients and combines medical-surgical care with telemetry monitoring.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes in condition
• Provide routine medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
• Administer medications and coordinate ordered treatments
• Assess patients, prioritize care, and update plans as needs change
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Collaborate with the care team on admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
• Support patient education and recovery goals

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
