Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct care to adult medical and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital medical unit for a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The role supports bedside assessment, cardiac monitoring, and daily coordination of care.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Track cardiac rhythms and report changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge teaching

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills
