Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The inpatient unit serves stroke and TIA patients and higher-acuity med-surg patients, with 30 beds, an average daily census of 27, and Epic charting.

• Assess adults and geriatrics with stroke, TIA, seizure, and other high-acuity medical-surgical conditions
• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, oxygen support, and blood products
• Assist with peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral access
• Support rapid response and interdisciplinary care coordination
• Document care in Epic

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse experience
• Prior travel and charge nurse experience
• Epic charting experience
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation, respiratory support, and line management skills

• Port access and management
• Colostomy and ileostomy care
• Feeding tube care and management
• Wound care and wound vac experience
