Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in an acute care hospital in Nashville, Tennessee for a 14-week contract. The 18-bed unit serves underserved, homeless, underinsured, insured, and prison populations, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide direct care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Maintain IV access, peripheral lines, and isolation precautions
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI or MAB
• 1 year of nursing experience
• Blood product administration
• IV insertion and peripheral line care
• Isolation precautions and PPE

• Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Dysrhythmia management
• Chemotherapy administration
• Tracheostomy care and wound care
