Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult forensic patients on a secure hospital unit during a 14-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 16 beds, uses Cerner, and serves adult patients in a locked setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Provide wound, respiratory and mobility care
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support services
• Document care accurately in Cerner
• Maintain safety in a secure unit

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale and CPI certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Cerner charting system experience

• Chemotherapy administration
• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Dysrhythmia management
• Charge nurse experience
