Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a neuroscience med/surg unit during a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The unit serves stroke and TIA, seizure, and other higher-acuity med-surg patients, uses Epic charting, and works with a 1:6 ratio.

• Assess adults and geriatrics with stroke, TIA, seizure, and other medical-surgical needs
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Administer medications, oxygen therapy, and cardiac drips without titration
• Support peritoneal dialysis, continuous bladder irrigation, and respiratory care
• Follow isolation precautions and use rapid response resources as needed
• Coordinate care to support safe neurologic and medical-surgical recovery

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of med/surg telemetry experience
• 1 year of Epic experience
• Previous charge experience
• Prior travel experience

• Port access and management; colostomy and ileostomy care
• Feeding tube care and non-invasive airway management
• Wound care and wound vac support
