Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Pomona, CA

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pomona, California. The unit serves orthopedic, neuro, cardiac, oncology, general, and diabetes patients, with telemetry monitoring and stroke care. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and plan care for med-surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support ongoing treatment plans
• Provide care for stroke patients and other adult medical-surgical cases
• Collaborate with the care team and use available support services
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge needs

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS
• 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Telemetry experience
• Stroke patient experience

• Med Surg experience
• Cerner experience
• ICU or ED experience
• Conscious sedation or ventilator experience
• Charge nurse experience
• Trauma Level I experience
