Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for a locked forensic unit in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The 16-bed unit serves patients from state and local prisons and jails, uses Cerner charting, and has interpretation services. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes
• Assess and plan care for forensic med surg patients
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments and interventions in Cerner
• Support patient education and discharge planning

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• CPI certification
• 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills

• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Charge nurse experience
