Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults in an acute care hospital in Maryville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit averages 28 patients, uses Epic, and includes higher oxygen demands, dialysis, afib, and post heart cath care.

• Monitor telemetry and rhythm changes
• Care for adults with dialysis needs, afib, and post heart cath recovery
• Manage oxygen therapy and noninvasive respiratory support
• Administer ordered cardiac drips without titration
• Provide pre- and post-hemodialysis care
• Perform IV, line, tube, and wound care

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Epic experience
• BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, central line and IV care, hemodialysis support, and wound care

• Community hospital experience
• Cardiac telemetry rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Post cardiac cath, post MI, and pacemaker care
• Chest tube, tracheostomy, and rapid response support
