Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Knoxville, TN

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Knoxville, Tennessee. The unit uses remote continuous tele monitoring and Cerner charting, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to rhythm changes
• Assess adults and geriatrics with complex medical needs
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Maintain lines, drains, airways, and wound care
• Collaborate with support services and rapid response teams
• Document care in Cerner and communicate changes

• Active unencumbered Tennessee or multistate Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of comparable acuity hospital experience
• Cerner charting experience

• NIHSS
• Accessing and managing ports
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
