Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult telemetry patients on a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee at an acute care hospital. The 28-bed unit serves patients with higher oxygen needs, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post heart cath recovery, with Epic charting and step-down care from ICU.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Care for adults with oxygen needs, dialysis needs, afib, and post cath recovery
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips and heparin therapy
• Support noninvasive respiratory therapy and oxygen delivery
• Perform IV starts, line care, and blood product administration
• Coordinate pre and post hemodialysis care and wound care

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of med surg / telemetry experience, Epic charting experience

• Cardiac telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Community hospital experience
• Rapid response and code team collaboration
