Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for forensic patients in an acute care hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, on a 14-week contract. The locked unit serves an underserved population and uses Cerner. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Provide bedside care for medical-surgical and forensic patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and routine nursing interventions
• Assess patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Document care and clinical findings in Cerner
• Collaborate with the care team to support safety in a locked unit
• Use interpretation services to support patient communication

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI certification or MAB equivalent
• 1 year of medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Cerner charting system experience

• Telemetry experience
• Chemotherapy administration
• Charge nurse experience
