Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care on a locked forensic unit in an acute care hospital for a 14-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit has 16 beds, serves incarcerated patients, and uses Cerner. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and monitor incarcerated patients on the telemetry unit
• Track cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
• Document care in Cerner
• Coordinate with the care team and interpretation services

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• NIH certification
• CPI certification or MAB in lieu of CPI
• 1 year of med surg/telemetry experience
• Cerner charting experience

• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Telemetry experience
• Charge nurse experience
