About this job

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The unit has 20 to 34 beds and typically cares for 1:6 patient assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
  • Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
  • Track cardiac rhythms and report changes in condition
  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
  • Support patient education and discharge preparation

Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current NIHSS certification
