Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care for adults and geriatrics on a stroke-focused unit in Maryville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. Epic is used for charting, and the unit supports higher-acuity med-surg patients with a patient experience focus.

• Monitor adults and geriatrics with stroke, TIA, seizure, syncope and other higher-acuity med-surg conditions
• Administer medications, blood products and ordered therapies
• Assist with oxygen therapy, BiPAP and CPAP support, and suctioning
• Track cardiac rhythms and report dysrhythmias
• Support peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Maintain central lines, PICC lines and isolation precautions

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Previous charge experience
• Prior travel experience

• Port access and management
• Ostomy care and feeding tube management
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Non-invasive airway support and wound care
