Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Maryville, TN

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Maryville, Tennessee. The unit has 30 beds, an average daily census of 15 to 20, and uses EPIC charting with telemetry monitoring.

• Provide med-surg and telemetry care for adult and geriatric patients
• Administer medications and blood products safely
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly
• Start and maintain IV access and peripheral lines
• Perform assessments, document care, and update the plan
• Support postoperative orthopedic and medical-surgical recovery

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license or multistate license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of specialty experience
• 1 year of EPIC experience
• 1:6 patient ratio experience
• Prior travel experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry skills, including blood product administration and IV starts

• Teaching and community hospital experience
• Orthopedic, bariatric, bowel obstruction, and total joint replacement experience
• Ostomy, feeding tube, central line, and PICC care experience
• Previous charge experience and charting system experience
