Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lubbock, Texas. It uses Epic in a Level II trauma setting.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess patients and update nursing care plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate with therapy, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and support teams
• Educate patients and families for discharge
• Support rapid response needs and unit workflows

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• One year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• Blood product administration and central line care
• Heparin protocols and IV insulin protocols
• Rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Wound care, PICC management, and rapid response support
