Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult med-surg and telemetry patients in a hospital unit for a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. This 22-bed unit uses Meditech and maintains a maximum 6:1 ratio. Orthopedic patients are part of the case mix.

• Assess and monitor adult med-surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy
• Maintain central lines and urinary catheters
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team and respond to changes
• Support orthopedic and general medical-surgical care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year
• Ability to care for 4 to 6 patients at a time

• 2+ years of orthopedic nursing experience
