Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care on a 22-bed hospital unit in Corpus Christi, Texas for a 13-week contract. The unit serves ortho and overflow neuro patients, uses Meditech, and staffs to ratios as high as 6:1.

• Assess and monitor med surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Insert and maintain urinary catheters, central lines, and nasogastric tubes
• Support continuous bladder irrigation and other unit procedures
• Document care in the electronic health record
• Communicate with the care team and respond to changing patient needs

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of acute med surg experience within the last year

• 2+ years of neuro experience with CVA, TIA, or AMS
• Neuro or neurosurgery background
• Orthopedic background
