Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for medical-surgical and orthopedic telemetry patients in a hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit has 22 beds, uses Meditech, and has patient ratios up to 6:1.

• Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical and orthopedic telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and support safe IV therapy
• Insert and maintain urinary catheters
• Maintain central lines and complete documentation in Meditech
• Collaborate with RNs, PCAs, and unit staff to support daily care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2+ years of recent acute medical-surgical experience
• Experience caring for 4-6 patients at a time
• IV insertion, urinary catheter care, central line maintenance, medication administration, and EHR documentation

• 2+ years of orthopedic nursing experience
