Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit has 22 beds, uses Meditech, and supports ortho and overflow neuro patients with standard equipment.

• Deliver care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and support daily treatment plans
• Start and maintain IV access and other routine lines
• Assist with urinary catheter care central line maintenance and nasogastric tube care
• Document care in the electronic health record and coordinate with nursing staff

• Registered Nurse license in Texas
• 1+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year
• Strong bedside assessment and communication skills

• Neuro patient experience with CVA TIA and AMS
• Neuro-surgery background
• Ortho background
