Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Decatur, TX

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Decatur, Texas. The unit has 60 beds, uses remote telemetry and capnography, and charts in Alterra; patient ratios are 5:1 and 6:1.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and capnography
• Assess adult medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate postoperative and procedural care
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Document care and communicate changes

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills

• Cardiac rhythm recognition
• IV start skills
• Strong time management
