Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide nursing care on a hospital unit in Austin, Texas, on a 13-week contract. The unit has 32 beds, uses Meditech, and serves adult med-surg telemetry patients.

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs
• Provide direct nursing care to adult med-surg patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Document care in Meditech
• Assist with bladder scanning and patient lift use
• Coordinate care with RN, LVN, and PCT team members

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Hospital experience
• 3 years or more nursing experience
