Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a hospital unit in Austin, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 28 beds, 5:1 to 6:1 ratios, telemetry monitoring, and Meditech charting.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Track cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Coordinate care with the interprofessional team
• Document care and patient responses in the EMR
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge teaching

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Hospital experience

• Three or more years of nursing experience
• Epilepsy care experience
