Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Conroe, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Conroe, Texas. The 32-bed unit uses Expanse charting and manages a mixed medical-surgical and telemetry patient population with 1:6 nurse ratios.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Complete admissions, discharges, and ongoing bedside assessments
• Draw labs, start IVs, and insert Foley catheters
• Administer IV fluids and medications, including antibiotics
• Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Complete daily charting and bedside shift report

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Expanse charting experience with admissions and discharges
• Med-surg and telemetry bedside care skills

• At least one year of acute care experience on a med-surg tele or stepdown unit
• Lab draw experience
• IV insertion experience
