Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Conroe, TX

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital medical-surgical telemetry unit on a 13-week contract in Conroe, Texas. The 23-bed unit uses Expanse charting and has a 1:6 nurse ratio.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Perform admissions, discharges, and patient education
• Start IVs, draw labs, and insert Foley catheters
• Administer IV fluids and medications, including antibiotics
• Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Communicate changes in condition to physicians

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Expanse charting and admissions/discharges experience
• Telemetry nursing experience

• One year of acute care in a medical-surgical telemetry or stepdown unit
• Ability to draw labs
