Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Hannibal, MO

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac and general medical-surgical care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Hannibal, Missouri. The unit averages 5:1 ratios, serves stable dysrhythmia and pre- and post-operative patients, uses EPIC, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Provide routine nursing care for stable cardiac and medical-surgical patients
• Assess patients and document findings throughout the shift
• Administer IV medications, titrated drips, and blood products as ordered
• Support care for pre- and post-operative, dysrhythmia, and observation patients
• Perform finger stick glucose checks and maintain ongoing cardiac surveillance

• Missouri Registered Nurse license or compact license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• IV start skills
• Telemetry experience
• EPIC experience
