Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Belton, MO

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a medical and surgical unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Belton, Missouri. The unit has 27 beds, typical ratios of 1:5-6, and uses Meditech; daily multidisciplinary rounds support coordinated care.

• Monitor telemetry and report changes in patient condition
• Assess and care for medical-surgical and post-operative patients
• Administer medications and support ongoing treatment plans
• Assist with general surgery and diagnostic procedures
• Perform wound care and manage wound vac support
• Coordinate care with nursing assistants and therapy teams

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills
