Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Lee's Summit, MO

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The 36-bed unit uses Meditech, telemetry monitoring at the nurses' station, and technician support, with a 1:6 ratio.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Start IVs and manage IV therapy
• Complete bedside shift report and safety rounds
• Administer medications and support daily care
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech
• Use AIDET and therapeutic communication

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• IV start and telemetry monitoring skills
