Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Belton, MO

A Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for adult patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Belton, Missouri. The unit has 27 beds, typical ratios of 1:5-6, and uses Meditech. Patients include general surgery cases and post-procedure recoveries.

• Monitor telemetry and assess patients for changes in condition
• Provide routine medical-surgical nursing care and coordinate daily care
• Assist with recovery after general surgery and diagnostic procedures
• Support wound vac therapy and continuous bladder irrigation
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document care and communicate updates with the care team

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
