Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for orthopedic and trauma patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 23-bed unit uses Meditech and typically sees 1:4 to 1:5 ratios. It supports post-op joint replacements, trauma, and some neuro overflow in a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center.

• Monitor telemetry and report changes in condition
• Care for post-op joint replacement and trauma patients
• Assist with bedside shift report and hourly rounding
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily plans
• Provide neuro checks for patients with neuro overflow

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience

• NIH Stroke Scale experience
