Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Fredericksburg, TX

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide med-surg and telemetry care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Texas. The unit has 24 beds, a 1:6 ratio, and uses Meditech Expanse.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Provide postop nursing care for surgical patients
• Complete assessments, vital signs, and intake and output tracking
• Administer ordered IV therapies, cardiac drips, and heparin infusions
• Assist with wound care, drains, Foley care, NG tube care, and bedside procedures
• Perform admissions, discharges, hourly rounding, and bedside handoff

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• Telemetry experience
• Postop care experience

• 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale
