Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Surgical Cardiac Registered Nurse will provide care on a med surg telemetry unit in Des Moines, Iowa, for a 13-week contract. The unit combines surgical cardiac care with telemetry monitoring in an acute care hospital.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes in patient status
• Assess surgical cardiac patients and support ongoing care
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Coordinate postoperative care, testing, and treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge needs
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• ACLS certification
• TNCC certification
