Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient nursing care in a hospital resource pool on a 26-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports adult med surg and telemetry patients across several inpatient units.

• Assess patients and update nursing plans of care
• Monitor cardiac status and report changes in condition
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate care
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Educate patients and families on care needs

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Strong adult med surg and telemetry nursing skills

• TNCC certification
