Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Des Moines, IA

A Travel Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Des Moines, Iowa. The role supports adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in orthopedic, oncology, neurology step down, and surgical telemetry areas.

• Assess adult med-surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Educate patients and families on care plans

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• ACLS certification
• Medical-surgical and telemetry nursing skills

• TNCC certification
