Travel Med Surg RN in Overland Park, KS

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital in Overland Park, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The 32-bed unit uses Meditech and sees joint replacement, spine, neuro, and general surgery cases with 1:4 to 1:5 staffing ratios.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Document care in Meditech
• Coordinate with the care team
• Respond to changes in patient condition
• Support mobility and discharge readiness

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Basic dysrhythmia class
